Accessibility is part of the quality contract, not a follow-up task.
What every component commits to
- Complete keyboard operation with visible, logical focus.
- Semantic roles, names and live-region announcements for state changes.
- Reduced-motion behavior that keeps every piece of content and every action available.
- Sufficient contrast in both themes at default settings.
Your responsibilities
Customizing a component can change its accessibility. When you restyle, check contrast. When you replace content, keep labels meaningful.
